Research in Linguistically Motivated Event Extraction
Three search fields contained in the event-based biomedical information retrieval system include: subject field, predicate field, and object field. The user can fill in any of these to produce search results which provide the information of
(1) Original sentences in text format containing the query words,
(2) Linked abstracts,
(3) Event representations of these original sentences, and
(4) Syntactic representations.
An online platform is provided. It focuses on the integration and reorganization of vast amounts of biomedical information available on the Internet. It is built with high scalability driven by a knowledge graph engine using Neo4j to facilitate information retrieval according to a range of different biomedical entities covering drugs, genes, diseases and their combination pairs as well as side effects of drugs.
